Welcome folks to another instalment of This Week on Kickstarter. We have a great selection this time so let's dive straight in!

First up we have Oathsworn Miniatures' Heroes campaign. This project, which has just a few days left, is funding a range of Dwarf adventurers, perfect for your Dwarf army or roleplaying party.

Next up we have something a little more. . . *cough* provocative. The Women of "The World of For-Ha" by Luis Alberto Cayo (try saying that three times fast!).

This campaign is in its final days and it's rewards range from the dangerously beautiful.

To the frighteningly weird! Just look at that ass. . . look at it!

This next project, RAFM Airship Pirates is worth watching just for their video. I don't know what is going on there, but sky pirates singing and dancing is always worth a look. It helps that the minis are pretty too! They have some really nice looking concept art, but are only half way to their $16,000 CAD goal with 10 days to go.

For those of you with a more historic persuasion, Winter War should help sate your appetite. Focusing on the 1939-1940 war between Finland and Soviet Russia, Winter War will be producing a line of white metal troops representing those that took part in the conflict.

Next up is Tin Man Miniatures who are looking to expand their range of metal miniatures. This is another combination of sexy and strange (must be something in the water this time of year). Check out some of the offerings.

Next up, something a little different. Osborne Coinage is running a campaign to make a set of coins of various denominations that can be used in any RPG. So far only the dragon coin (100 denomination) has been finalised, but if the other coins look that good, it should be very interesting. They have shown some concepts for the next coin:

And last, but by no means least, Reaper Miniatures have launched their Second Bones campaign. This campaign raised over $1,000,000 in it's first 24 hours! Reaper have streamlined the backing process this time around and made the pledge levels all the same (either $1, or $100 for a core set). The different pledge options now represent different shipping times, broken into slots of 2000 backers. As it stands, December 2014 is the latest the people currently involved will have to wait, but going this route could mean that, if enough people pledge, the last people involved will have to wait deep into 2015 to get their goods.

Here's what the $100 level is getting at the time of writing:

Another thing worth noting about this campaign is that shipping is not a set cost at the moment. It is listed that international backers will have to pay the "actual cost" of shipping (US backers get it free.). This could mean that if enough free things are added to the pledge, you really suffer in the postage department.

And lastly, Mantic Games will be launching the Mars Attacks  at 13:30 BST on October 4th. If you have any interest in the game, you'll want to get in fast as any early bird pledges are going to go FAST.

That's all folks. What campaigns are you currently backing? Let us know in the comments.

And if you know of/run a crowd funding campaign you'd like to see featured here you can get in touch using the contact form at the bottom of the page, or on twitter via @talkwargaming or @imm0rtalreaper.

That's all from me, and enjoy your weekend wargamers!

Tutorial: Painting Warlord's Plastic Roman Legionaries

My friend Scott got very excited by my 28mm Roman project. So excited he's been amassing an army of his own. I have to paint them though...
